The design Lalaika has been inspired by the damask Alboran of Equipo DRT and by the decorative patterns of ancient buildings in the city of Valencia. This curtain fabric provides a lot of movement due to the circle structure -snowflake- which is composed itself of flowers and leaves of marked graphic style. By looking at the textile design from the distance, a clear structure of intertwined arches and circles stands out. This structure reminds us to the dome of a Gothic-Romanic cathedral. Modern and classic compose a new and singular artistic language. In the Sarabande collection designed by Pappenpop for Equipo DRT. These 300 cm wide printed fabrics are fire retardant and acoustic. Therefore they can be used both for homes and for contract and collective spaces.
