From the 23rd to the 27th of October, Equipo DRT will be in Cologne, Germany, site of the Orgatec trade-fair. There, in Hall 10.1, our upcycled collection of UP fabrics #Since2014 will figure prominently in the group-stand of design brands from RED-aede. These fabrics, which lend an air of sensible, sustainable design for the home as well as for work and leisure spaces, will actually be on display as the large separating curtains defining the different areas of the stand.
In this way, Equipo DRT will display their revolutionary selection of Up textures, colors, and finishes for contract fabrics. These curtains, which were finalists in the 2014 Delta Awards, have been developed with thread recycled from polyester fabrics and are certified with the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) seal. Other fabrics that will be on display are made of thread from recycled PET, with five plastic bottles being necessary to obtain one meter of fabric.
